The Card Game's Regulations and Rules
Rummy, sometimes known as Rum, is a classic card-matching game for two to six players using a standard deck of 52 cards with the kings on top and the aces on the bottom. The ultimate objective of Rummy is to determine who has amassed the most points by the game’s conclusion.

Set-Up
Before beginning the game, it is necessary to select a dealer. Each participant is dealt one card from the shuffled deck at random. The player who has been dealt the lowest-valued card becomes the dealer.
Before distributing the cards clockwise to each player, the dealer will shuffle the deck. When there are two players, each player receives a hand of ten cards. Each participant in a game with three or four players accepts seven cards. If five or six persons are playing, each player gets six cards. The remaining cards are shuffled and arranged to make the stock with their backs facing down in the circle’s center. When establishing the discard pile, the card atop the stock is flipped face-up and placed next to the stock.
How to Execute
The game begins with the player immediately on the dealer’s left. Each player must select one card from either the stock pile or the discard pile at the start of their turn. If the stockpile runs out of cards during the game, the discard pile is reshuffled, creating a new stock. The card that you discarded from the top of the new supply pile is moved to the bottom of the discard pile. The game aims to eliminate your cards in as little time as possible. Players can achieve this by combining, eliminating, and discarding according to preference.
When a player’s hand has at least three of a kind or three of a run, they have completed a meld. A run is three or more cards of the same suit arranged in ascending or decreasing order from highest to lowest. When a player completes a meld, you must place the finished card face up on the table. You have complete control over the melting process but can only perform it once per turn.

Creating fresh melds instead of existing ones is a different approach to eliminating cards and emptying the hand. For instance, if a player has previously melded three Kings and another player still in play owns the fourth King, the first player may add the fourth King to the three-King meld to complete the set. Similarly, if a meld consists of 2, 3, and 4 clubs and the player now playing owns the Ace of clubs, they may place the Ace in front of the 2 to continue the run. There is no limit on the number of layoffs you can conduct, and the decision to lay off personnel is optional.
Scoring
When one player discards all of their cards, the game is done, and the remaining players must pause and calculate their scores based on the remaining cards in their hands. The card’s value determines the number of points granted; an ace is worth one point, while a face card is worth ten points. The player who discards all cards before their opponent wins the total points.
